public class JsonStringSerializer
extends org.codehaus.jackson.map.ser.std.SerializerBase<JsonString>

Serializes JsonStrings. Could be implemented via JsonRawValue, but that breaks encapsulation, and we still have to provide the JsonStringDeserializer.
