public class ObsoleteIndexCleaner
extends Object

ObsoleteIndexCleaner deletes Lucene indexes that are no longer used - indexes which was used in Jira < 8 and indexesV1 which was used in Jira 8. Since Jira 9 we are keeping the indexes in a different directory - indexesV2. Hence, the old index shouldn't affect Jira's behaviour and indexes are cleaned to not confuse customers with two indexes and to save disk space.
